Poisonous plants you should know as a forager

Some plants can be poisonous if you eat them. Others can hurt you if you get them on your skin. For some plants, all parts of the plant are poisonous. There is a surprising number of poisonous plants that can cause rashes!!!  Cuckoo pint is a herbaceous flowering plant which toxic to humans and animals. Lords and Ladies berry spike - Also often known as the 'cuckoo pint' These beautiful plants may look lovely, but they are poisonous, and they are found commonly . Common toxic plants that should not be ingested include sago palms, lilies, azaleas, tulips, foxgloves, delphiniums, lupins, bluebells, amaryllis, Symphytum, brugmansia, Daphne , Californian poppy or Rhododendron. Some wild ones like poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac , giant hogweed , stinging nettle , wild parsnip and poison hemlock.  Foxglove, while very beautiful, are very poisonous to dogs, cats, horses and even humans!
