AUTUMN is here and with it is a chance to forage in hedgerows to find the best blackberries to make the tastiest crumbles or jams.




Blackberries are an incredibly high source of valuable nutrients, including fibre, vitamin K, vitamin C, and manganese. Many of the health benefits of blackberries are associated with its ridiculously high antioxidant load. Antioxidants are believed to play a role in preventing the development of such chronic diseases as cancer, heart disease,stroke, Alzheimer's disease, Rheumatoid arthritis, and cataracts.
